Multi-Purpose Programmable Timer Relay Module

This timer is easy to setup and use with all of our entry alert and driveway alarm products. Use the timer and optional higher current (500ma or 1 Amp) 12VDC adapter power supply to have higher power drawing accessories (up to 8 amps) activate for a specified length of time immediately after the sensor detects something and the alert receiver outputs an audible or visual alert. Programmable Timer Relay can be used on the 12VDC output of receivers or the Timer Relay can also be used on the Form C relay (NO/NC) channel/zone outputs of receivers to activate an accessory by channel/zone (additional 12VDC adapter power supply required for this application). Long Range Wireless Remote Entry Way Alert - 35 foot Reflective Beam

Wireless remote chime (up to 1500 feet; line of sight transmission distance) entry way alert is activated when person or object passes through the Reflective IR invisible beam. Beam sensor is powered by 12vdc adapter (included) on one side and by (non-powered) beam reflector on other side of entry way. Separation of sensor and reflector can be from 3 feet up to 35 feet (or greater with optional Reflectors). Reflective Beam Entry Way Sensor includes 5 feet of cable and must be wired to 3vdc CR2 battery powered wall-mountable transmitter and included 12vdc adapter (instructions included). Transmitter settings allow one of four tones/chimes to be sent wirelessly up to 1500 feet (line of sight) away to Audible alert receiver with on/off switch and volume control. Chime selection (Classical, Westminster, Ding Dong, Whistle) only sounds twice when something passes through invisible IR beam. Multiple entry ways can be monitored with additional sensors ( item 80-403 ), power supplies ( item 60-300 ) and transmitters ( item 60-105 ). The additional entry ways can be set to individual unique chime settings if desired. Multiple wireless wall/desk receivers ( item 60-609 ) may be used with single or multiple entry transmitters.

When the receiver gets a signal from the transmitter one of 4 different tones (Classical, Westminster Chime, Ding Dong, Whistle) will sound for a few seconds. There is also a volume control so you can set the sound to the desired level. The receiver is also equipped with 4 (one for each zone) NO/NC (24vdc @ 3amps) relays and one 12 VDC (400mA max.) output terminal that can activate when a signal is received. The receiver can be user programmed so the 12VDC terminal and relays will activate for 1 second, 10 seconds, 60 seconds or 10 minutes. The tones will sound for several seconds.

Transmitters/receivers can be set to one of 256 frequency settings to avoid interference with nearby retailers using same system.

Optional Extra Loud indoor Siren or Steady Tone Electronic sounder available for high noise areas, see item 60-206.

Optex TD-20U PIR Transmitter

The TD-20U is the battery-powered sensor transmitter for the RCTD-20U (Wireless 2000). The detection pattern is selectable, allowing for a 17 foot fan pattern or 50 foot beam pattern, and sends a signal back to the RC-20U chime box when compromised. The device is powered by a standard 9V battery (not included), and up to nine TD-20U"s can be added to one RC-20U receiver.

The TD-20 Sensor/Transmitter is a PIR detector which will detect both people and vehicles. Voice Alert TXPCBB Specialty Sensor and Transmitter

Voice Alert"s TXPCBB sensor/transmitter adds a new layer of functionality to the Voice Alert System-6 Wireless Annunciator.

The new transmitters enable any type of "sensing device" with output closures to trigger user recorded messages on a Voice Alert base unit receiver/speaker. Now you can get wireless notification from devices such as smoke alarms, CO (carbon monoxide) sensors, window, gate or door contacts, push button devices, water level indicators, a vibration switch or pressure pads ... to name a few. You"ll be instantly notified when an event occurs at the sensing device.

False alarms are eliminated as the TXPCBBs are only triggered when activated by the sensing device. The new sensor/transmitters can be used in a mixed installation environment with our standard PIR (passive infrared) sensors.

The TXPCBB sends a radio signal by input from either Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) devices. There is no longer a need to pull cable or trench to receive information from remote sensing devices.

Housed in a water-tight NEMA box, the TXPCBB has a radio transmission range of up to 1000" line of sight or up to 300" through walls. The NEMA box will handle all environments and includes mounting tabs to accommodate a variety of mounting options.

The TXPCBB is powered by a 9V battery. An alkaline battery has a battery life of over one year and a lithium 9V battery will last three to five years. The system includes a "low battery" feature designed to notify the user when a battery voltage approaches a low battery threshold.

Using the SOUND SENTRY XL
The Sound Sentry XL has an on/off switch located on the top of the unit. Ensure the unit has 3 AAA batteries installed and the on/off switch is set to "on".

1. To record a new sound hold down the REC button located on the front of the Sound Sentry and speak or use your computer to play your sound effect at least 7 inches away from the microphone in a room with little or no background noise.
2. To stop recording, release the REC button.
3. To test your sound effect move your hand in front of the sensor bubble near the bottom of the unit.

The Sound Sentry has a maximum detection range of about 10 feet so place your unit accordingly.

REPLACING THE BATTERIES*

The Sound Sentry XL uses 3 AAA type batteries. Replace the appropriate batteries when the sound volume begins to decrease or playback is distorted.

1. Remove the screws from the battery compartment cover with a Philip screwdriver.
2. Take out the old or weak batteries and replace with new batteries according to polarity symbols marked inside.
3. Replace the cover, then inset and tighten the screws.

Sound Sentry XL Tricks and Tips
You can turn your Sound Sentry XL into anything from a Barking Dog Alarm to a buzzer alarm (use our free sound library here on the site!), leave messages for your family - it can even be a doorbell - just use a doorbell sound and stick it near your door with the included sticker.
Here are some helpful tricks and tips for recording sounds with your Sound Sentry XL!

1. Make certain when you press the record button your finger/thumb is not covering the microphone area.
2. For cleanest recording use the entire 7 seconds.
3. To force a playback delay play your sound and then record silence until the 7 seconds is up, then release the record button. The Sound Sentry will play the sound and your recorded silence becomes a delay before the sound will play again.
4. Note motion that is very close to the sensor (less than 6 inches) is not easily detected as it obscures the entire sensor area. Effective range is 6 inches to about 11 feet away.

Dakota Indoor Motion Sensor / Receiver 2500, IRDCR-2500

The IRDCR-2500 is the newest addition to the family of motion sensors from Dakota Alert. This indoor PIR motion detector is compatible with all transmitters and receiver in the Dakota 2500 Series, and also has a range of up to 2000" depending on local terrain. Monitoring indoor locations has never been easier!

The passive infrared detector is able to monitor an area up to 100 degrees wide. This can be narrowed down to 20 degrees , or any degree in between, with the integral mask. The swivel mount makes it simple to adjust the sensing range from right to left, up to 80 degrees, and up and down up to 50 degrees. There are also three different sensitivity settings, allowing detection of a person up to 12, 25 or 40 feet away. Another option available: Have the sensor flash an LED or stay dark when a signal is sent. The IR-2500 is powered by one 9 volt battery and will have a battery life of about 12 months under normal conditions. There is also a low battery alert to notify you when it is time to replace the battery.

The IR-2500 is designed for indoor or light duty outdoor applications under an eave or awning or other protected location. Operating range temperature -30 F to 120 F. Great for home security, retail and business!

Voice Alert System-6 allows voice-recorded messages to identify activity for up to six monitored zones. The Voice Alert System-6 uses wireless sensors (contact closure / motion / etc.) that send a wireless signal up to 1000" line of sight (or up to 300" inside) to an indoor receiver/speaker (Base Unit).

When a wireless sensor is activated a radio signal is sent from the wireless transmitter to the remote Base Unit. A custom message, which you"ve recorded in your own voice for that specific zone, is played on the Base Unit. One of four form "C" relays (NO/NC dry on/off switches) attached to the Base Unit can optionally be triggered (see example below). With its ability to secure up to six separate zones, each with its own customized recorded message in your own voice, Voice Alert is the most flexible system available.

Users can place the wireless transmitter sensors wherever needed and alter their recorded messages at any time. Voice Alert System-6 sets up in minutes and can be completely customized to handle tough wiring situations. Multiple base units may also be used to trigger alerts in two or more areas simultaneously.

The TXPCBB transmitter sends a radio signal by input from either Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) devices. An included magnetic door contact sensor with 2" of wire is included. The small magnet mounts on the door and the small wired sensor mounts opposite the magnet on the door frame and it connects (via the included 2" of wire) to the NC (normally closed) terminals on the transmitter.

The transmitter box is housed in a water-tight NEMA box, the TXPCBB has a radio transmission range of up to 1000" line of sight or up to 300" through walls. The NEMA box will handle all environments and includes mounting tabs to accommodate a variety of mounting options.

The TXPCBB transmitter is powered by a 9V battery. An alkaline battery has a battery life of over one year and a lithium 9V battery will last three to five years. The system includes a "low battery" feature designed to notify the user when a battery voltage approaches a low battery threshold.

Optex TD-20U PIR Transmitter

The TD-20U is the battery-powered sensor transmitter for the RCTD-20U (Wireless 2000). The detection pattern is selectable, allowing for a 17 foot fan pattern or 50 foot beam pattern, and sends a signal back to the RC-20U chime box when compromised. The device is powered by a standard 9V battery (not included), and up to nine TD-20U"s can be added to one RC-20U receiver.

The TD-20 Sensor/Transmitter is a PIR detector which will detect both people and vehicles. Entry Way Alert Set. For outdoor or driveway applications, Rodann, RX/TX-2000A

Both transmitter and receiver have antennas that allow 360 degree rotation and pull away from sides of boxes. For best results in communication between transmitter and receiver it is ideal for the antennas to be on the same plane. Example: (If one antenna is pointing up in the vertical position, then the other antenna should be pointing up also. If one antenna is in the horizontal position, then the other antenna needs to be horizontal and pointing at each other for optimum reception). When it comes to distance in communication between transmitter and receiver environmental condition need to be considered. Line of sight without obstacles is ideal. Every tree, bush, fence, car, building in direct line of sight will reduce communication between units. These units should give you approximately 1000’. You may also add additional transmitters to one receiver or additional receivers to one transmitter.

 

TRANSMITTER
The outdoor weatherproof transmitter unit that can be either side or overhead mounted. A 9V replaceable battery is included and is already installed for your convenience. In the back of the unit there are six dip-switches. Numbers 1-4 control the communication security codes that must match the receiver. Numbers 5 & 6 on the transmitter identifies which of up to 4 transmitters (zones) is sending a driveway motion alert. There is an antenna that can rotate for optimal transmission to the receiver up to a realistic 1000 feet away. The driveway beam projection at 25 feet is 1 foot square and at 50 feet it is 2 feet square.

RECEIVER
The indoor receiver has a plug-in 12VDC power supply with a 6 foot cord. The receiver may be placed on a counter top, table or hung on the wall. The electronic LED counter feature allows you to either count customers or count unexpected visitors / vehicles moving in your driveway. There is a reset button next to the counter, when pressed it will zero out the counter. This unit also has six dipswitches on the back of this unit. Numbers 1-4 must match transmitter. Number 5 controls the output of the 12VDC terminals on the back of the receiver with a one second or five second 12VDC output, Number 6 is not used. The terminal screws on the receiver back give you the option of adding a bell, buzzer, horn, siren, strobe or anything that is 12VDC operated. The other speaker terminal (SPKR) screws allow you to add an auxiliary speaker via a wire connection to get the same “Ding Dong” sound as the receiver. A volume control knob adjusts volume on receiver and auxiliary speaker and a different tone is generated depending on which transmitter (zone) is activated. For optimal reception the antenna will swivel 360°.

The DCR-2500 is the standard wireless receiver and chime alert for the Dakota 2500 Series products. It has four form “C” relay outputs and one 12VDC output. The output duration(s) are adjustable up to 10 minutes. The receiver will play one of four different tunes that are selected at the transmitter so that different zones can be distinguished. The receiver is powered by a 12VDC transformer. It also offers a 5 minute exit delay so you can leave the house without disturbing any occupants as well as a reminder beep and counter function.

Wireless Remote Entry Way Alert Chime System w/ 35 feet Beam

Wireless remote chime (up to 2000" line of sight transmission distance) entry way alert is activated when person or object passes through or across IR invisible beam. Beam sensor is powered by 12vdc adapter (included) on one side and by non-powered reflector on other side of entry way (separation of sensor and reflector can be from 1 foot up to 35 feet). Reflective Beam Entry Way Sensor includes 6" of cable and must be wired to 9V battery powered wall-mountable transmitter and included 12vdc adapter (instructions included). Transmitter settings allow one of four tones/chimes to be sent wirelessly up to 2000 feet (line of sight) away to Audible alert receiver with on/off switch and volume control. Entry Alert Beam Chime / Alarm - Invisible Beam Alert 671

You can know when someone "crosses the line". This high tech device creates an invisible infrared beam up to 60 ft. long between the two units. When the beam is crossed a loud alarm or a pleasant chime sound will be emitted. Can be used as an invisible playpen to alert you to your child or pet leaving a safe area. The alarm can also be used at night to scare off would-be intruders. In the chime mode, retail stores in businesses can use it to announce customers and alert them when someone enters an area that is "off limits". You can choose to have the chime sound only one time (when a customer enters a store for example) or the chime can sound continuously until you turn it off (when a customer enters an area that is "off limits" or at home when a child leaves a safe area for example).
